History:

Beckwith Post Office was first established in November, 1884 and discontinued in July, 1886. It was re-established in November, 1897 and discontinued again in February, 1903. It was established for a third time in October, 1920 and discontinued again in June, 1931. Its mail was then handled by the Sage Post Office.
