Origin of Name:

Bosler was named after Frank C. Bosler of Carlyle, Pennsylvania, owner of the Diamond Ranch near the town. In 1909, almost overnight the little town of Bosler sprang into existance. One hundred farm families had arrived due to the irrigation project of 1907.
