Marquette Post Office was established in April, 1891 and discontinued in March, 1903. Mail was then handled by Irma Post Office but in April, 1903, the name of the Irma Post Office was change to Marquette. It was discontinued in September, 1909 and the mail then handled by the Cody Post Office.
