Millis Post Office was established in September, 1913 and discontinued in February, 1916 after which the mail was handled by the Evanston Post Office.

A station on the Overland Route and Union Pacific Railroad between Knight and Evanston. Near Millis station may be seen to the right (north) great piles of railroad ties that were cut in the mountains many miles to the south and floated down Bear River at times of high water.
