History:
A station on the Overland Route and Union Pacific Railroad between Borie and Granite Canyon. From several places near Otto station good views of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains may be obtained to the left (south). Longs Peak is plainly visible, as well as the more massive and scarcely less elevated mountains north of it. Toward the right (north) the foothills east of the Laramie Range form conspicuous ridges that are plainly visible from the train.
