History:
Sweetwater Post Office was established as Hopkins Post Office in May, 1891 and changed to Sweetwater Post Office on October 19, 1896. Tholemah A. Megeath was the postmaster. It was discontinued on March 15, 1915 and its mail then handled at the Rock Springs Post Office.
