Origin of Name:

A gigantic mass of rocks taking the form of corrals from which the name is derived. They were said to have been the retreat of outlaws and horse thieves in the early days. Underlying the corrals are numerous passages and caverns. Some contain tons of unmelted ice the entire year. These passages have never been fully explored.
