History:
Ucross Post Office was established as Charger Post Office on July 14, 1915 and its name changed to Ucross Post Office on June 26, 1916. Hurley F. Dye was the postmaster. It was discontinued on October 31, 1944 and its mail then handled by the Clearmont Post Office. The post office was re-established on July 1, 1952 but discontinued again on October 9, 1964 after which its mail was again handled by the Clearmont Post Office.
