History:

Wendover Post Office was established on April 24, 1888 in Laramie County prior to the formation of Platte County. Frank A. M. Stuarts was the postmaster. It was discontinued on July 31, 1891 but re-established on July 2, 1915. It was discontinued again on June 15, 1954 after which its mail was handled by the Glendo Post Office.
