Zenith Post Office was established on December 6, 1902 in Uinta County prior to the formation of Teton County. Harry M. Smith was the postmaster. It was discontinued on March 31, 1930 but re-established on November 2, 1933. It was discontinued again on September 14, 1935 after which its mail was handled by the Jackson Post Office.
